Sirocco has a strong focus on integrated sustainability in everything it does.

Tony regularly delivers presentations at conferences, both locally and internationally, on the subject of strategies in business and, in particular, the importance of people in making the strategy work. He uses the invaluable lessons of our natural heritage to bring these talks alive, to illustrate the points made, to emphasise the critical state of our Planet and the role that people and organisations can play in fixing it.

Presentations have been made at conferences in many different international locations as well as many South African conferences, seminars and workshops. He published a book on the subject of organisations and management entitled “After the Rain”, has new books in the pipeline, writes a regular column on environmental issues for a regional newspaper, and regularly talks on these topics on radio.

He served 2 years as President of the Institute of Personnel Management (Southern Africa) (1991 & 1992), the largest professional human resource management body in Africa. He was a member of the Advisory Boards of the Wits University School of Business Administration and the Global Forum of the International Society for Human Resource Management.
