  • Top ethics and governance trends
Beyond having a sound understanding of workplace ethics, Boards and executive teams need to consider the top ethics and governance trends and the impact on their organisation. This talk enhances leaders’ ethics understanding significantly, allowing them to adopt a more proactive and strategic approach to workplace ethics – both as regards current issues and emerging issues that may reflect ethical gaps in the organisation’s ethics focus.

  • The imperative for ethical leadership
The importance of ethical leadership is well recognised, not least because leadership is the most impactful factor that drives (or erodes) ethics in the organisation. King IV (IoDSA, 2016) adds a further emphasis with the definition of corporate governance as “the exercise of ethical and effective leadership by the governing body”. This talk looks at what this implies for executives and senior management, encompassing what they should understand in the field of workplace ethics and about being good role models, and the responsibility that this increased emphasis entails.

  • Does ethics make good ‘business’ sense?
The topic of whether ethics make good sense explores the relevance of ethics for all organisations (private, public and non-profit organisations). The talk addresses the key question of whether ethics is essential, a nice-to-have or an optional extra, and what the influence of the current context is where corruption is on-going and deeply entrenched. Crucially, the focus is on why ethics should matters in organisations, what value it delivers and for whom.
